Creating work that leaves a lasting reflection.
Amy Matthew is an Orlando-based ASCAP songwriter, lyricist, publisher, and musical-theatre creator. Her songwriting work spans commercial music, artist collaborations, and original stage projects.
Her work begins with emotional truth: the line in a song that says what a character cannot, the relationship that can sustain a multi-season story, or the imaginative world that invites a young reader to see possibility differently. That approach has grown into more than 100 catalogued songs, five original musicals, released music, and an expanding network of artist collaborations.
Amy wrote and co-produced “Favorite Mistake,” the debut worldwide release by Beatzone Boys through Trans Continental Records. Her theatrical slate includes The First Verse, 1944, Athens, This Life, and Havana; her songwriting catalog continues to grow across commercial pop, R&B, country, vocal-group music, and musical theatre.
“Creative careers do not have an expiration date.”
Amy continues to develop songs and artist collaborations for professional partnership, licensing, publishing, recording, and stage development.
